BIO

Georgina Pearce is a British artist currently based in Spain, whose work explores the dynamic interplay between precious materials, texture, and light. Her paintings are characterized by their vibrant energy, harmonious symmetry, and vivid use of colour—reflecting both her personal spirit and artistic vision.

Originally from Dorset, Georgina studied art before moving to London in 2006, where she enjoyed a successful career as a hair stylist in television and fashion. It was during this time that her fascination with reflective colour and texture took root, eventually evolving into her current artistic practice on canvas.

After relocating to Winchester, Georgina began selling her work privately and exhibiting in local galleries. Now living in Spain with her young family, she draws inspiration from the region’s rich light and vibrant landscapes, which continue to shape and inform her work.

Georgina’s primary focus is the reflection of light. Her debut collection, Native Sun, was inspired by the spiritual relationship Native American cultures have with the sun, exploring themes of symmetry and illumination. This led to her ongoing series, Space, in which she investigates the interplay between light and negative space. Each piece is based on celestial bodies—moons, stars, and other astronomical phenomena—capturing their unique colours, contrasts, and luminescence.

Her work has been exhibited in galleries around Winchester and featured in a number of commercial spaces. She also has a touring collection in partnership with Little Van Gogh, currently on display in venues across London. Georgina welcomes private commissions and continues to develop new collections inspired by light, nature, and space.
